2.5 years in prison for forging a will

Mira Karsanti worked in the traffic police department and decided to improve her affairs at the expense of a childless woman who recently died in a car accident. Having broken through the database for the absence of first-line relatives who could claim the inheritance, she, along with her brother, forged a will and a receipt for money.

Then they went to the registrar of the inheritance, where they claimed that the deceased was their friend mother, while she and her brother searched her, for which she bequeathed them an apartment, money in bank accounts and other things.

The Haifa District Court sentenced Karsanti to probation, a fine and compensation to the applicants. Karsanti's brother fled the country without waiting for the verdict.
