Football player Christian Atsu has been found dead under the rubble of his home almost two weeks after the earthquake in Turkey, his agent confirmed.
The 31-year-old Ghana international played for teams Premier League Everton, Chelsea and Newcastle.
Atsu went missing after the earthquake on February 6, which caused the collapse of his apartment in the city of Hatay.
His club Hatayspor initially reported that the footballer “with injuries” taken out from under the rubble, but a day later this information was denied.
