Foiled attack on US military base in Baghdad
Two kamikaze drones were shot down in Iraq on January 3, targeting a military base where the US military is stationed.
The drones were intercepted nearby from Baghdad airport.
Nobody was hurt as a result of the accident. The attack was attempted on the second anniversary of the American elimination of Qasem Soleimani.
According to a representative of the US-led international coalition, the air defense system shot down two UAVs.
The attack did not claim responsibility no grouping.
