Floods in India: death toll rises

Large-scale floods and landslides in the Indian state of Assam claimed 8 more lives.
The total number of victims has reached 62 people, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
Assam state authorities said that 32 out of 35 districts of the state were affected by floods because the Brahmaputra River overflowed its banks.
In addition, four people were reported missing on Sunday without lead. Search and rescue work continues.
