 Brazil floods: death toll rises

More than 100 people have gone missing or died in Brazil due to landslides and floods caused by heavy rains.

The death toll is reported by Reuters in the states of Pernambuco and Alagoas rose to 57 people. In addition, 56 people in the state of Pernambuco are considered missing.

In addition, the elements forced thousands of residents to flee their homes: more than 6,000 people arrived at government-designated aid points, and more than 7,000 people stayed with friends or relatives.

It is noted that this is the fourth major flood in 5 months.
