Heavy rains took place in Vietnam, causing flooding that destroyed homes and roads. As a result of the disaster, at least 18 people went missing or died, reports Reuters.
According to press reports, the disaster caused the greatest damage to the coastal areas, as well as the coffee province of Daklak. In one of the cities, more than 400 millimeters of precipitation fell per day. More than 700 hectares of rice fields have been flooded across the country.
It is reported that about 60,000 houses have been flooded in the affected areas.
Now the rains have subsided, search and rescue operations are underway .
