By the evening of February 15, the fire and rescue service managed to control the fire that broke out near the Bikur-Holim hospital in Jerusalem.
The fires broke out in the printing house and factory, which were located next to a medical facility.
According to preliminary estimates, the fire broke out as a result of welding work in one of the buildings. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Let us remind you that the maternity and postnatal departments of the hospital were evacuated to Shaare Zedek for safety. In particular, about 40 mothers and babies were transported. The building of the medical facility was not damaged.
One of the patients went into labor during the evacuation. The child was born premature, but healthy.
