A fire broke out at a chemical plant in Pamukkale in Denizli province, southwestern Turkey. CNN Türk reports.
“At about 12.30, a fire broke out at the chemical plant, which is located 100 meters from the Denizli-Afenkarakhisar highway. At the site of the fire, explosions occurred from time to time”, — According to the TV channel.
Due to the ignition of chemicals, the flames quickly engulfed the entire plant, explosions were heard.
A large number of firefighters were sent to the scene. Access to the area was denied for security reasons. The fight against fire continues.
