Fire at hotel building in central Moscow: death toll rises to seven

The number of deaths in a fire in a house with a hotel “MKM” in the center of Moscow increased to seven people. This was announced on Wednesday, February 22, by a source of Izvestia.

“A woman who was taken to the Sklifosovsky hospital died,” — The publication quotes the interlocutor.

It also became known about the increase in the number of victims: 31 people needed medical assistance.

Recall that the fire in the building became known on February 21. Previously, the cause of the fire was arson by one of the residents. The Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the capital opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Provision of services that do not meet security requirements).
