Fighter plane crashed in South Korea
In South Korea, immediately after takeoff, an F-5E military fighter belonging to the 10th squadron of the South Korean Air Force crashed.
The incident took place on January 11.
< br /> According to information from the South Korean news agency Yonhap, the fighter crashed on a mountainside near the town of Hwaseong right after takeoff.
There was only one pilot on board, who could not be ejected and died as a result of the accident. < br />
No civilian casualties. The reasons for the crash were not disclosed.
