A violent fire broke out on a ferry that sailed on the Suganda River in Bangladesh, the Associated Press reports.
The fire killed at least 37 people .
The rescue operation is ongoing. It is not yet known what caused the fire.
It is noted that such fires on ferries are not uncommon in Bangladesh. Failure to follow the rules is often the cause of accidents.
