Fear of Omicron? Israel breaks two-month record for vaccination of children
Fear of the Omicron coronavirus strain in Israel has had a positive effect on vaccination rates.
According to Israeli TV Channel 12, 23 December, Israel set an absolute record since the end of October for the number of people who came to be vaccinated against COVID.
In particular, 7,630 Israelis came to be vaccinated. Since the beginning of December, nearly 100,000 Israelis have received a booster dose of the vaccine.
Yesterday, 11,354 Israelis received their first dose, most of them & ndash; children aged 5-11 years. According to the TV channel, this is also a record figure since the beginning of October.
