Football player Nicolas Otamendi, defender of Lisbon club Benfica and the Argentine national team, became the victim of a daring robbery.
According to the publication Marca, unknown persons broke into Otamendi's house and attacked him. The robbers tied the footballer, tightened the belt around his neck, and then took away jewelry, watches and cash.
All this happened in front of the footballer's family – his wife and son. Otamendi and his family, according to press reports, are doing well.
According to estimates, the amount of the loot was about 300 thousand euros. The police have already started looking for the intruders.
