A highly venomous king cobra has escaped from a zoo in Stockholm. According to CBS News, a snake named Sir Vas has slipped through a hole in his terrarium. Employees at first thought that she was hiding somewhere in the ceiling. However, not finding a dangerous creature, began a feverish search. As a rule, the king cobra avoids people, however, it is able to attack from a long distance and inject large amounts of poison. In such cases, medical attention must be immediate, as this poison is deadly. Sir Hiss lived in the zoo for only a few days. Employees nicknamed the snake Houdini because it escaped from the enclosure, in which the same cobras lived without any incident for the past 15 years.
