Explosions rocked the capital of Somalia, Mogadishu, today.
At least three people were killed and seven more were injured as a result of mortar shelling of areas near the presidential palace of Somalia, BBC reported. .
At least three shells were fired at Bondhere and Hamarweine after Thursday morning prayers, according to Radio Risala. One of them exploded and killed three people and wounded three others.
Another shell that hit a residential building wounded four civilians. A third unexploded shell landed near one of the monuments in the city.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the shelling.
