In the city of Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, a car bomb exploded, reports The Jerusalem Post. The explosion took place at an intersection near the presidential residence.

“A car bomb killed seven people and injured eight,” Muawiye Mudei, a district commissioner in the Somali capital, told Reuters.

None of the groups have yet claimed responsibility for what happened. According to the initial data, it is also unclear whether anyone was in the car mined.

Eyewitnesses told Reuters that seven cars and three rickshaws were hit by an explosion, and the entire intersection was covered in blood.
