Explosion at fireworks factory in Slovenia leaves one dead

At least one person was killed and two seriously injured in an explosion at a fireworks factory in central Slovenia, police said on Friday.
The explosion occurred just before noon in the town of Vrinika, southwest of Slovenia's capital Ljubljana. An explosion at a manufacturing site caused a fire that spread to storage facilities within the complex, officials said.

Police and firefighters cordoned off the area. According to them, the explosion took place on Hamex's property.
