Former military intelligence chief Tamir Heyman understands the decision to allow a flag march on Jerusalem Day. He said this in an interview with Channel 12. According to him, today's situation is different from what it was a year ago, when Operation Wall Guard was carried out. Then tension with Hamas increased after the cancellation of the elections in the PA and the parade at the Shechem Gate. In his opinion, Hamas is now not interested in escalating the situation in Gaza.
