Ukraine will require additional negotiations on holding Eurovision 2023. This is stated in a statement by the Minister of Culture and Information Policy Alexander Tkachenko, the winner of the Eurovision 2022 contest. Oleg Psyuk, People's Artist of Ukraine Ruslana Lyzhychko and Chairman of the Board of JSC "NSTU" Nikolai Chernotitsky:
"Eurovision-2023 in Ukraine– this is a powerful signal to the whole world that he supports Ukraine now. We will demand to change this decision, because we believe that we will be able to fulfill all our obligations, which was repeatedly noted by the European Linguistic Union,” the message says.
Earlier it became known that Ukraine did not will be able to host Eurovision 2023, and the competition may be transferred to the UK, since the representative of this country took second place – organizers.
