European officials meditate in the forest to save the planet

80 European officials have begun meditating in the forest to save the planet – fight the climate crisis.

The Guardian reports that officials are taking a course called “Inside Green Deal”. As part of the course, EU officials walk through the forest, meditate among the trees to learn how to find and make decisions to combat the climate crisis.

It is assumed that during such “sessions” officials will be imbued with empathy for plants and animals: personal experiences should help officials realize their role in saving the planet.
