 European Heritage Awards winners announced

The European Commission and Europa Nostra have announced the winners of the European Heritage Awards funded by the EU's Creative Europe programme.

30 outstanding achievements were awarded this year in the field of heritage from 18 European countries.

Two Ukrainians are among the 30 winners.

This is St. Andrew's Church in Kyiv, designed by the outstanding architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli.

As well as Vyshyvanka Day, a project that began as a student project and turned into an annual international holiday that helps preserve Ukrainian vyshyvanka as an important element of the heritage of the Ukrainian people.

The award ceremony will take place in Prague on September 26 2022.
