The European Union will sign an agreement with a vaccine manufacturer to supply about 110,000 doses of monkeypox vaccine. This is reported by The Jerusalem Post.
Deliveries should begin by the end of June. EU Commissioner for Health Stella Kyriakides stated this without disclosing the name of the manufacturer.
According to Kyriakides, the vaccines will be purchased with EU funds and delivered to the EU countries.
As the official noted , about 900 monkeypox cases have been reported in the EU to date.
