Elroy-Price: “Omicron is not the reason hospitals are overcrowded”
Head of Public Health, Dr. Sharon Elroy-Price, said that over the past week, about 1,000 people with the flu in Israel have been hospitalized. This is reported by The Jerusalem Post.
According to the doctor, hospitals in Israel are overcrowded because of the flu, and not because of the wave of cases of the Omicron coronavirus strain.
