Elderly Swedes recommended a fourth vaccination
Sweden has recommended that older people aged 80 and over receive a fourth dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
This statement was published by the Swedish Health Agency.
Experts say this is necessary to prevent weakening of the immune system due to the spread of the Omicron strain.
The recommendation applies to all people living in nursing homes or receiving home care services.
