Eight million Russians banned from leaving the country

< p>

8 million Russians are banned from leaving the country because of debts. The TASS agency was informed about this by the press service of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia. The department noted that last year this figure was almost two times less 4.6 million enforcement proceedings on temporary restriction of debtors' right to leave the Russian Federation.

Restriction on travel abroad is applied to Russians on debts related to the payment of alimony, loans or payment of housing and communal services. A citizen is prohibited from leaving the country if the amount of his debt is 30 thousand rubles or more. If a person has previously had problems with criminal law, the amount of debt for a travel ban is less— 10 thousand rubles.
