 Ebola in Uganda: border control with Kenya tightened

Health officials at a major border crossing between Uganda and Kenya step up checks on truckers and casual travelers to prevent the spread of Ebola.

Medical teams gather information about the site departures of travelers in Uganda and check for symptoms such as fever, headaches and abdominal pain. This is reported by the Air Force.

As noted, the number of cases of Ebola infection is steadily growing. According to the latest data, 43 cases of the disease have now been confirmed. Nine people have died.

Earlier, the WHO said that the Ebola outbreak in Uganda was detected late.
