Earthquake off Japanese islands: tsunami danger is over
On Tuesday, January 4, an earthquake of 6.1 magnitude occurred in the area of the Japanese island ridge of Ogasawara in the Pacific Ocean.
According to NHK, the source of the earthquake was about a thousand kilometers south of Tokyo at a depth of 77 kilometers.
It is noted that there was no danger of a tsunami. There was also no information about the victims.
