An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 on the Richter scale hit Iran, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center.
It is noted that the epicenter was 113 km away northwest of Bandar Abbas, which is home to about 352,000 people, the outbreak was located at a depth of 10 km.
