 Ear cut off for theft: Three Taibe residents to be charged

Three residents of Taiba will be charged with cutting off a man's ear on the grounds that he allegedly stole 200 shekels from them.

Police station detectives in Taiba have opened an investigation about two weeks ago after receiving a report about a man who was attacked outside the city cafe. The owner of the establishment and his friends suspected the man of finding and taking possession of the 200 shekel account, reports the Jerusalem Post.

herded him back into the cafe and threatened him with a gun, saying that if he did not return the money, they would cut off his ear. The man denied committing the theft, and the suspects cut off his ear with scissors.
