 A man was convicted in the Netherlands for removing a condom without the consent of his partner

The District Court of Dordrecht in the Netherlands found a man guilty of removing a condom without his partner's consent. The Associated Press writes about this.
He was acquitted of the rape charge, as the court accepted that the sex was consensual.

A 28-year-old resident of Rotterdam received three months probation and an obligation to pay his victim a thousand euros in compensation.

In 2018, a court in Berlin found a man guilty of sexual of violence and sentenced him to eight months probation for secretly removing a condom during sex, and also ordered him to pay the victim 3,100 euros.

In 2021, California became the first US state to ban the removal of a condom before sexual intercourse .
