Drought in France: more than 100 municipalities without drinking water
|News » Incidents
French Minister of Ecological Transition Christophe Bechou said that due to drought, more than 100 municipalities have no drinking water in their pipes.
“Today, more than a hundred municipalities in France no longer have drinking water”, – said the minister, calling the situation “historic”.
Drinking water has to be delivered by trucks.
“There are deliveries that are made by trucks with drinking water…, because there is nothing left in the pipes”, – said Besh.
