The statue of Margaret Thatcher, erected in her hometown of Grantham, was again vandalized.

About two weeks ago, immediately after the opening, the sculpture was thrown eggs. This time, according to the Air Force, an unknown person poured red paint over the statue, and painted a hammer and sickle on the fence.

No arrests of suspects have been reported yet.
