The famous theater and film actress Natalya Velichko died on May 21 at the age of 82. In the last years of her life, the actress was seriously ill.
Natalya Velichko graduated from the Moscow Conducting choral school in 1961, then in 1965 she entered the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK), studied at the acting workshop of Y. Genika and V. Shishkov. Then in 1979 she graduated from the directing department of VGIK in the workshop of A.B. Stolper. In the period from 1965 to 1992, she served as an actress at the Center for Theater and Cinema.
Natalia Velichko's acting debut took place in 1963, when she played the role of Asya in Bondarev's film Silence. In subsequent years, she played in the films “First Snow”; (1964), Friends and Years (1965), “Shield and Sword” (1968), “Fifty-fifty” (1972), “Georgy Sedov” (1974), “Diamond Trail” (1978) and two dozen others. (1983). She also played in the Film Actor's Studio Theatre.
In the 1990s and 2000s, the number of roles of the actress was significantly reduced, and in recent years she has not acted at all. We add that Velichko was married to the writer and historian Nikolai Lisov, who died in 2019.
