 Director Vadim Abdrashitov died

Film director, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Vadim Abdrashitov died at the age of 79, Interfax was told in the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation.
“Vadim Yusupovich died today,” the source said.

Abdrashitov was born on January 19, 1945. In 1967 he graduated from the Department of Cybernetics of Chemical-Technological Processes of the Moscow Chemical-Technological Institute. DI Mendeleev, worked at the Moscow plant of electrovacuum devices.

In 1970 he entered the directing department of VGIK. From 1986-1990, he was the secretary of the board of the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR.
Among his works are the paintings Stop Potapov!, Fox Hunting, Armavir, Parade of the Planets, Train Stopped ;, "A play for a passenger" and others.
