 Defense Secretary Gallant vows to

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said terrorism must be “eradicated” while visiting Nablus and the IDF's Samaria regional unit on Thursday.

Gallant, joined by brigade commander Lt. Col. Shimon Siso and Golani patrol commander Lt. Col. Matan Feldman, praised the IDF forces for Wednesday's operation, which ended in liquidation wanted terrorists, despite heavy resistance and firefights during the operation.

“I congratulate the security forces that operated yesterday in Nablus under pressure and heavy fire from terrorists planning to attack Israeli territory. The combination of intelligence operations, planning and final implementation by the fighters brought an impressive achievement to our forces, which successfully completed their mission and prevented harm to the citizens of Israel, ",— Gallant said.

“We will be crippled by terrorism everywhere until we eradicate it. The IDF and security forces will act tough against the terrorists… So it was a few weeks ago in Jenin and Jericho, so it was in Shechem, and so it will always be when we are called upon to act,” — Gallant continued in his speech.
