'Days of Our Lives' actor found dead in his own home

Young actor Cody Longo, who made his mark on both film and television, has died at the age of 35.

According to TMZ , he was found dead in his own bed in his house in Austin, Texas.

It is specified that his wife, being at work in a local dance studio, could not contact him. This caused her concern, so she asked the police to check if he was all right.

As a result, the police had to kick down the door to get into the house. Inside, they found Longo with no signs of life. According to one of his relatives, the actor struggled with alcohol addiction for several years, and even went to rehab this summer. The cause of Longo's death was not disclosed. The family believes that he had a relapse.

The young actor appeared in eight episodes of the TV series Days of Our Lives. in 2011 as Nicholas Alamein. He also starred in “Bring It On: Fight to the Finish” and episodes of “Nashville” in 2016.
