Czech Republic: bird flu outbreak at a large poultry farm

The State Veterinary Administration of the Czech Republic (SVS) has reported an H5N1 avian influenza outbreak at a large poultry farm with approximately 750,000 chickens.
Reported by the Jerusalem Post.
The detection of avian flu came after the farm recorded an increase in mortality in one of its three pavilions.
The authorities said they were taking measures to prevent the spread of the disease.
