“We need the National Guard,” National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said as he visited the scene of a double murder that took place tonight in Nazareth when brothers Ali and Khaled Saadi were shot dead due to the internecine war between the Bakri and Hariri crime families.
The Minister received a report from Tanah District Commander Shuki Tachuk, during which he touched on the violence in Arab society: “I'm worried about the people here. We must lead a brutal war on crime. The Israeli police lack a lot: the budget, the police, there must be a National Guard to maintain order. Here, children deserve a different reality.”
During the visit, the minister praised the actions of the police commanders involved in the incident: enough tools, and I intend to do as much as possible in the coming months to get them the tools.
