On Wednesday, December 29, Crete was shaken by an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6.
This was reported by the Geodynamic Institute of the country.
In in turn, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center recorded an earthquake of 6.1 points on the Richter scale. The earthquake was felt even in Egypt.
The source lay at a depth of 80 km. No information on casualties or damage was reported.
