COVID outbreak at the Israeli Consulate General in New York

Thirteen employees of the Israeli diplomatic mission in New York, including the Consul General, tested positive for COVID-19.

Information confirmed by the press service of the consulate.

From December 20, a capsule mode of operation is introduced at the institution. Any employees who feel unwell will stay at home.

“The Israeli Consulate General in New York has survived the COVID-19 outbreak in its Manhattan offices. Employees who test positive do not have severe symptoms and do well. This week, the consulate will switch to a new work schedule, under which employees will partly work from home, '' said consular spokesman Itai Milner.
