COVID in Israel: 589 new cases, 55 ventilated

A total of 1,349,134 people have been infected with COVID-19 in Israel since the start of the coronavirus epidemic.

This is evidenced by data provided by the press service of the Ministry of Health on the morning of December 10.

It is clarified that 589 new cases of infection were identified. Of 91,736 tests, 0.65% gave a positive answer. Currently, 5,942 patients are active carriers.

As of today, 93 patients are in serious condition, 55 of them are connected to mechanical ventilation devices. During the entire period of the coronavirus epidemic, 7,783 people died.

The number of Israelis vaccinated with the first dose reached 6,396,361. The second received 5,788,048, and the third – & ndash; 4 116 855.
