Construction of the containment dome of Unit 1 Zhangzhou Nuclear Power Plant completed

The construction of the outer dome of the containment of the first unit of the Zhangzhou nuclear power plant in the Fujian province of China has been completed, according to the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC).
Zhangzhou-1 is the first of two Chinese-technology Hualong One reactors (1,000 MW each) under construction at the site. The units are scheduled to enter commercial operation in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
A total of six reactors are planned to be built at Zhangzhou NPP.
