On the afternoon of March 3, clashes erupted between security forces and Solidarity March activists in Hawara.< br />
According to Channel 13, the event was organized by left-wing activists who came to support the villagers.

Clashes broke out while the march was taking place. The IDF forces intervened in the riots and were forced to use stun grenades and tear gas to bring the situation under control.

At the direction of the Israel Defense Forces, the buses of the activists arriving at the event were stopped at a checkpoint, from where they walked to towards Hawar.
