China launches artificial sun

 Artificial sun launched in China

China has launched the Tokamak EAST fusion reactor in experimental mode, which is part of a project involving China, India, Russia, the United States and a number of EU countries.

He worked 17 minutes at 70 million degrees Celsius. During the tests, the plasma in the facility heated up five times stronger than the Sun.

The ultimate goal of the project is to create an almost limitless clean energy that mimics the natural reactions that occur inside stars. Such a reactor does not require fossil fuels and does not emit hazardous waste.
