 Charles III first arrived in Northern Ireland as monarch

King Charles III arrived in Northern Ireland on his first visit as a monarch.

Charles III made his visit with his wife Camilla, who received the title of Queen- consort, BBC reports.

Hundreds gathered outside the royal residence to welcome the new king.

The king is expected to have a private audience with Northern Ireland Secretary Chris Heaton-Harris and then will meet with high-ranking representatives of political parties.
