Cancellations of about 17,000 directives of the Director General of the Ministry of Education due to reorganization

The Ministry of Education is currently completing a large-scale and unprecedented process of reorganizing the director general's circulars issued since the founding of the state to this day, with the aim of updating and systematizing them. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education. As part of this process, about 18,000 directives were studied in depth, of which about 17,000 were repealed. As part of the optimization of the system, all current circulars of the Director General of the Ministry of Education will now be combined on a single website. After the sorting and filtering process is completed, the website now displays about 240 current directives and temporary guidelines, and announcements for the education system. Also on the site are preserved and inactive circulars. Minister of Education, Dr. Yifat Shasha-Biton: “As a result of many processes to reduce bureaucracy and accessibility of information, we are completing another project that will make life much easier for those who often use these circulars, including directors, teachers, parents, and students.” Director General of the Ministry of Education, Dalit Stauber: “Optimizing the database of circulars of the general director is another important step towards eliminating unnecessary bureaucracy, transparency and access to information. This will improve the performance of the entire system and benefit the entire society.”
