This is how Breast Cancer Awareness Month passes around the world: The Tel Aviv Museum of Fine Arts has become one of more than 200 significant places in the world that are being painted pink these days. The building will be illuminated every evening to draw attention to the importance of early testing in the fight against breast cancer.
The Estee Lauder Group's worldwide breast cancer awareness campaign kicked off this year at 30 th time under the slogan: “30 years we are united in the mission to end breast cancer”!

The campaign was founded 30 years ago by Evelyn Lauder herself, who was involved in the creation of the pink ribbon and the founding of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), and is the largest social action of the Estee Lauder group of companies.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month Campaign in Israel is part of Estee Lauder's global campaign spanning over 70 countries and supporting over 60 organizations. The global action has already raised over $108 million, which has been used to support research, educational activities and medical services. The bulk of the $86 million went to fund 152 BCRF research projects over the past 20 years. Over 180 million pink ribbons have been distributed around the world with one goal: to create a world free of breast cancer.
In Israel, the campaign is run by the Estee Lauder group of companies in conjunction with the Cancer Association.
As part of a joint campaign, this year the Tel Aviv Museum of Fine Arts will be illuminated with pink light. The museum, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, is Israel's most visited museum and is ranked 56th in the world's top 100 museums.
