The largest of the Verkhovna Rada faction “Block of Petro Poroshenko” has decided not to support resignation of Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman.
About this told reporters on the sidelines of the Parliament one of the leaders of the faction Ihor Kononenko, reports the online edition of the Chronicle.info with reference to lb.ua.
“Volodymyr Groysman faction about anything did not ask. He just announced his statement and personal motivation, why he did it. After discussion the group decided that we statement this resolution will not support their government positions. The country for four months may not become unmanageable,” said he.
In case of resignation of Volodymyr Groysman, his duties will be fulfilled by either the first Vice-the Prime Minister or other Cabinet member, said Kononenko.
“But in any case, the acting has no right to sign decisions of the government. Because the elections on 21 July, but the first session will be held on September 9, and the formation of the government will be held, probably, until the end of September. This means that for this period, the country remains unmanaged”, — he added.
Recall, Groisman resigned may 20. He is the head of government in April 2016.
