Boat full of migrants sinks off Turkish coast

A boat with a group of illegal migrants sank on the coast of the Turkish province of Aydin, near Didim. According to preliminary information, 11 migrants, including a child, were rescued, five people died.
This is reported by the Turkish Coast Guard Command.
Search and rescue operations continue.
“On March 11, 2023, in the search and rescue zone near the Didim district of the Turkish province of Aydina, a rubber boat with a group of illegal migrants broke into the input and was in danger of flooding, one coast guard ship immediately arrived at the scene of the incident. In total, two Coast Guard boats were sent,— the message says.
