Stephen King's best-selling novel to be filmed: rights sold for a dollar

Stephen King's best-selling novel The Fairy Tale will be screened. It will be directed by English director and screenwriter Paul Greengrass.

The story will tell about a 17-year-old teenager who has received the keys to a magical world where there is a war between good and evil.

It should be noted that the King of Horror is a fan of Greengrass, and therefore he sold the film rights for only one dollar, according to the old tradition.

“Needless to say, I am a fan of Paul Greengrass and believe that great choice for this movie,” King said.

Greengrass added, “Fairy tale – this is a work of genius. A classic adventure story as well as a disturbing modern allegory.”
